Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators is seeking a Travel Flex Nurse to provide nursing coverage across BCN service areas, including home care, inpatient units, and nursing facilities. The role requires cross-training and the ability to deliver patient care in diverse settings.

The Travel Flex Nurse must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Kentucky RN licensure (or NLC state), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Kentucky or a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Minimum of one year of general nursing experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to travel within BCN service regions.
• Ability to work across multiple settings including homes, nursing facilities, and inpatient units.
• Must meet employment health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing coverage in home, inpatient units, and nursing facilities as needed.
• Travel to various locations within BCN service areas.
• Deliver nursing care per physician orders and in accordance with nursing regulations and BCN policies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with care teams.
