Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators seeks a Flex/After-Hours Hospice RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home settings, skilled nursing facilities, personal care homes, or wherever the patient calls home. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Licensed as RN through Kentucky Board of Nursing or COMPACT state.
• One year of general nursing experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Skilled in nursing practice with professionalism under stress.
• Provide compassionate care to diverse populations.
• Complies with professional and ethical standards.
• Understands hospice philosophy and death/dying principles.
• CPR certification held.
• Satisfactory references from nursing schools, employers or peers.
• Excellent observation, nursing judgment and communication.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision in an interdisciplinary team.
• Flexible and cooperative to meet patient needs and BCN policies.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle.
