Job summary

Liberty Hospice in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. You will provide state-of-the-art nursing care, ensure pain management, and coordinate with patients, families, physicians and the Hospice team to uphold dignity and comfort.

Requirements include current RN licensure, completion of an approved nursing program, at least two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice preferred, CPR, ongoing education, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts.
• Care and documentation of care meeting reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate physical care of the patient with family, patient, physician and Hospice team.
• Communicate with patients and families at all levels.
• Attend and participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews.
