Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Hospice RN for an 8-week travel assignment in Burnsville, MN. You will deliver compassionate end-of-life care in homes or hospice settings, focusing on comfort and family education, while joining a dedicated clinical team.

The role requires 1 year RN experience (6 months hospice), MN RN license, and BLS certification. Travel-friendly pay, benefits, and robust support are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience with at least 6 months in hospice.
• Current RN license in Minnesota.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams.
• Administer pain management interventions and medications for patient comfort.
• Educate families on symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Monitor patient changes and adjust interventions to maintain quality of life.
• Coordinate care with hospice physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Document care provided and comply with hospice regulations.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide emotional support to patients and loved ones during end-of-life care.
• Communicate with the hospice team to ensure continuous care.
• Complete charting and meet visit/productivity goals.
