Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Hospice RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Aldie, VA. The role focuses on compassionate end-of-life care at patients' homes or hospice settings, with pain management, family education, and coordination with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience, including minimum six months in hospice as an RN.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams.
• Administer pain management interventions and medications to ensure comfort.
• Educate and support families on symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and adjust interventions to maintain quality of life.
• Coordinate care with hospice physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members.
• Document care provided and ensure compliance with hospice regulations.
