Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a clinical care setting.
• Able and willing to travel 50%.
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the occupational therapy patient to determine rehabilitation needs, and develops a plan of care.
• Participates in implementation and development of the Plan of Care and discharge planning.
• Communicates significant findings to the supervisor, physician, and care team.
• Instructs patients and families in activities of daily living and home program strategies.
• Supervises and/or provides direction to support staff to ensure quality of care.
• Maintains safety during patient handling and equipment use.
