TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Histology Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, GA. Title: Histotechnologist • Duration: 13 weeks • Location: 993C Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30342 • Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40hours/week.

40 hours per week; shift 8 hours, days. Responsibilities include receiving specimens, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining; working across Pathology, Cytology, and IHC departments with Cerner EMR.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of specialty experience in a pathology laboratory.
• ASCP HT/HLT certification required.
• Formal Histology Technologist training or Associate's degree in Chemical/Physical/Biological sciences.

Responsibilities

• Receive surgical specimens and accession them into Cerner.
• Collect tissue blocks from PA staff.
• Perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning/cutting, and slide staining.
• Work across Pathology, Cytology, and IHC departments.
