40 hours per week; shift 8 hours, days. Responsibilities include receiving specimens, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining; working across Pathology, Cytology, and IHC departments with Cerner EMR.

Formación

• 2+ years of specialty experience in a pathology laboratory.
• ASCP HT/HLT certification required.
• Formal Histology Technologist training or Associate's degree in Chemical/Physical/Biological sciences.

Responsabilidades

• Receive surgical specimens and accession them into Cerner.
• Collect tissue blocks from PA staff.
• Perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning/cutting, and slide staining.
• Work across Pathology, Cytology, and IHC departments.

• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in a pathology laboratory

• Required Certification: ASCP (HT/HLT)
