Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Waco, TX, focusing on High Risk OB imaging. The role involves comprehensive obstetric ultrasound procedures, collaboration with clinical teams, and delivering detailed findings to providers.

Candidates should have an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least 1 year of high-risk OB experience, and a current BLS. Licensure and ARDMS/ARRT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
• Observe and record patient status and progress
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice
