A recycling company in California is searching for a qualified individual to assist in engineering tasks. This role involves 2D drawing production, performing site surveys, and operating Total Station and 3D laser scanning equipment. The ideal candidate must also have experience with AutoCAD and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Competitive salary ranges from $75,000 to $88,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel. 80%.
• Knowledge in the use of Total Station robotic instrument for topographic data collection.
• Drafting experience in Surveying (LiDAR, GPS, Total Stations).
• Experience using 3D laser scanner and scan rendering software.
• Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D software.
• Drone operating experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Assist engineering department in retrieving field data and producing 2D drawings.
• Perform site and building surveys.
• Produce drawings from field data and surveys.
• Generate diagrams for process equipment.
• Superimpose 2D drawings over surveys.
• Generate shop drawings from engineering designs.
• Process scanned data using Register 360.
• Create scaled aerial photographs using a drone.
