Job summary

Maag Gala, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support for SIKORA equipment across North America, including commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and operator training.

The role requires up to 75–80% travel, a solid electrical theory foundation, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of two years electronics experience is required, with readiness for extensive field work and collaboration with service and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of electronics experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and technical support to customers as required.
• Perform commissioning, repair, and training activities for SIKORA equipment.
• Deliver ongoing service support, including contract-based maintenance.
• Assist the sales team with equipment demonstrations and technical expertise.
• Evaluate system performance, components, and applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain equipment performance by following maintenance procedures and conducting preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose issues and perform corrective repairs to optimize equipment functionality.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance.
• Document service activities and maintain detailed engineering logs.
• Complete required service reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Uphold SIKORA’s product quality and company reputation.
• Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
