Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Travel Foot Care RN to support clinics in Idaho and neighboring states. You will assess lower extremities, educate patients on foot health, and assist with procedures under a licensed provider.

The role requires an Idaho RN license, Oregon license within 6 months, and BLS certification. WOCN/CFCS (BSN) and valid driver’s license are also required. A sign-on bonus is available, with travel to Nampa, Caldwell, and Fruitland.

Qualifications

• Must have an RN license in Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application for an Oregon RN license within 6 months of hire date.
• Certification as a WOCN or CFCS (BSN required) or eligible for certification within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA/ARC or Military Training Network required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive patient experience in collaboration with Podiatry providers.
• Perform focused lower extremity assessments and educate patients on foot care and general health maintenance.
• Describe safe nail cutting and debridement techniques for nails, calluses, corns, and blister care.
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and patient assessments under licensed provider supervision.
• Maintain clean, stocked nursing area and accurate patient records.
• Provide routine medical foot care education and timely follow-up as needed.
• Administer medications and participate in clinical triage per protocol.
