Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking a Light Duty Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles across the Southwest region. You’ll diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires travel across AZ, CA, NM, and TX, with outdoor work in varying conditions. Strong knowledge of Ford/Chevrolet vehicles is preferred, and tools you bring will support a range of tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mechanic in an automotive, truck, fleet, or heavy equipment environment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must provide and maintain personal mechanic tools.
• Working knowledge of Ford and Chevrolet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, air conditioning, mechanical, and other vehicle systems.
• Inspect vehicles to identify additional maintenance or repair requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Communicate equipment deficiencies, maintenance concerns, and safety issues to supervisors and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
