Job summary

Ducts Unlimited Mechanical Inc is seeking a reliable Light Duty Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of light-duty vehicles, including cars, pickups, vans, and similar equipment.

You will diagnose issues with scan tools and computerized systems, perform oil changes, brake and tire services, and document service records. We value safety, quality, and efficient teamwork in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive or light-duty fleet maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to diagnose and repair gasoline-powered vehicles; diesel experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools and computerized maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
• Repair and replace components such as brakes, suspension parts, steering components, batteries, belts, hoses, and lighting systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure fleet safety and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance logs.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify performance concerns.
• Assist with emergency roadside repairs when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
