Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking curious and adaptable problem-solvers for a dynamic field-based role in 2026. This position requires travel across North America, hands-on work, and strong communication with customers and teammates.

You’ll begin with a four-week paid training to build foundational electrical, programming, and networking skills. A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is required, with 3+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation fields.
• 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to maintain progress.
• Navigate travel rotations such as 5 on-2 off; 10 on-4 off; or 14 on-7 off.
