ProAutomated is seeking hands-on problem-solvers for a travel-heavy role that requires field deployments across North America. You will support data center startups with on-site checks and collaborate with automation teams to ensure flawless operation.

The position offers a starting salary of $60,000–$75,000, with per diem meals, mileage reimbursement, and bonuses. A clear path for growth includes merit raises and salary increases after six months.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel extensively and be away from home on rotation.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking skills.
• Adaptability and grit to handle changing plans and challenges.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within 50 miles of a major airport.
• Personal vehicle within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow a days on/off schedule: 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off.
