Job summary

MPW Industrial Service Group is seeking a dependable Technician to support industrial water purification operations through equipment regeneration, testing, and on-site service across local and regional customers. This 100% travel role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in both shop and field environments.

Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior industrial, mechanical, or water treatment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, overtime, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Regenerate industrial water purification tanks according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform integrity testing on tanks, valves, and plumbing systems.
• Use monitoring and testing equipment to measure and log water quality data accurately.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes affecting water quality.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and documentation for all testing and activities.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials safely using forklifts and other tools (training provided).
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about status and issues.
• Support general shop operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment readiness.
• Perform additional duties to support operational needs and customer requirements.
