Job summary

Service Electric Company is seeking a Safety Coordinator to coordinate safety across projects throughout Virginia and North Carolina. This role travels to job sites, assists with inspections, enforces safety manuals, and supports training initiatives to keep workers safe and compliant.

The position requires at least 4–5 years of electrical construction/maintenance experience and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. A commitment to safety and effective communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of electrical construction/maintenance experience.
• Experience with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of health and safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Participates in routine job site visits and safety assessments.
• Monitors compliance with Construction Safety Manual and safety plans.
• Assists in developing safety training programs, including OSHA topics.
• Facilitates new employee orientation training.
• Supports accident investigations and prepares safety reports.
• Coordinates safety for projects and helps maintain safe environments.
