Horizon Hobby seeks a Field Marketing Representative to bring our brand directly to customers across the United States. This full-time role, based in Champaign, IL, includes extensive travel (about 90%), weekend work, and face-to-face customer engagement at retail partners and events.

You’ll demonstrate products, support sales teams, and help shape Horizon Hobby’s field marketing strategy. Typical pay is $40,000-$50,000, with final offers based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred; substitution allowed.
• Strong customer engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in marketing, events, or retail is a plus.
• Ability to operate XL Transit Van and tow a 20+ ft trailer; valid driver’s license; lift 60+ lbs.
• Willing to travel up to 90% and work weekends.

Responsabilités

• Event Representation at retail locations and large events.
• Product demonstrations and interactive 'try-me' activities.
• Mobile operations and transportation of marketing materials.
• Customer engagement and answering questions.
• Load, unload, and set up booths; lift up to 60 pounds.
• Sales and marketing support; coordinate with marketing and wholesale teams.
• Provide feedback from events to improve future strategies.
