Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in San Antonio,Texas. The ER nurse will evaluate, triage and deliver care in a fast-paced ED, with 12-hour evening shifts and 36 hours per week, on a travel assignment.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, CPI and about one year of acute care experience. Benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours, plus education and retirement options.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, CPI certifications required or in progress.
• At least 1 year of acute care ER experience preferred.
• Stated certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Document medical history and allergies; coordinate care with team.
