Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. Immediate opening requires 1–2 years of acute care experience.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will evaluate, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including IV therapy, wound care and documentation of medical histories and vital signs.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, PALS, CPI, 2 Years * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience for Emergency Room travel RN

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
