Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Renton, WA. This travel assignment spans 15 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, on a 12-hour shift schedule. You will join a dedicated clinical team and provide high‑quality emergency care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements include 1 year ER RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS; PALS/ENPC preferred. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• PALS or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice.
• Take and monitor vital signs and address deviations.
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans according to needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
