Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a travel nursing job in Seattle, WA. This ER RN role offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, targeting experienced travel nurses seeking dynamic, patient-centered emergency care.

The ER RN will triage, treat, and support patients in a fast-paced ED, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold safety and quality standards across all care moments.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and support staff to ensure quality care.
