Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Massachusetts. This role is nights, 12-hour shifts, with a 36-hour minimum per week.

The RN will provide emergency department care, perform assessments, IVs, phlebotomy, EKG, monitoring, and patient education.

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP and TNCC preferred; travel benefits include housing options, health insurance, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and ED experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP and TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ED nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer IVs, draw blood, and perform phlebotomy.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and use EKG equipment.
• Perform point-of-care testing and splint fractures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Be prepared for float rotation if required.
