Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse to support the Emergency Services team in Lewiston, Maine. Night shifts on a 12-week assignment, with oversight of ED operations and nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications include active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS on hire, and at least one year's ED hospital experience. Compensation ranges from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour, with weekly pay and dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as an ED staff nurse in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness.
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
