Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse in Independence, Missouri for a 13-week assignment. The role runs 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, and starts 09/28/2026. Immediate travel RN opening for ED with 1-2 years of acute care experience and required ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC and TNCC certifications.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Travel RN job ID #1489208.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC, TNCC certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ED.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care in ED.
• Document medical history and allergies; monitor vital signs.
• Provide bedside care and assist with wound care and IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and report safety concerns.
• Support patients and families in a high-stress environment.
