Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, MO. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts and ALS/PALS/CPI/NIH certifications, plus 1–2 years of acute care experience.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions, manage vital signs, document history, and assist with IV therapy and wound care, while supporting patient and family education.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history, vital signs and patient data.
• Provide basic bedside care and IV therapy as needed.
• Maintain supplies/equipment and report abuse when applicable.
• Assist with patient and family education and discharge planning.
