Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. You will deliver rapid-response care in a fast-paced ED, triage patients, and support physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires one year of ER experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS or ENPC is preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included in the package.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in state compliance required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed meds per ER protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort in the ED.
• Document patient assessments and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
