Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Elizabethtown, KY. The ER RN will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, triaging and treating patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers 12-hour evening shifts, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; start date is 10/05/2026 and travel assignments include support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED and document changes.
