Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing invites an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. You’ll provide rapid-response care in a high-volume ED, triage patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with the care team.

You must hold an active RN license in Louisiana, with 1 year ER experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC (or equivalent). Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• ER RN with 1 year of recent ER experience.
• Valid RN license in Louisiana.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications.
• Preferred: TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP or SANE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced ER.
• Explain procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Administer medications per approved emergency protocols.
• Assist physicians during treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient status and document changes in EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe care.
