Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Nurse RN in the ED for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role runs 13 weeks starting 10/05/2026, at 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule, and is with a travel employment type.

Active RN licensure and a nursing degree from an accredited program are required, with 18 months of recent acute care ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required depending on the client facility. Credentialing, housing and travel benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ER.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage and prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
• Provide care for patients with varying emergencies in the ED.
