Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Shreveport, LA. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, delivering rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department.

The role requires ER RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/ENPC preferred. Benefits include health coverage, PTO after 1560 hours, 401(k) matching, and recruiter support.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications per protocols
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in ED
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
