Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in San Leandro, California. As a member of our team, you will provide rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED, triaging and treating patients while coordinating with physicians and staff.

You will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and join a supportive clinical team. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in CA per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications per emergency nursing techniques and protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
