Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Bakersfield, CA. The ED nurse will provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced ER environment, requiring strong assessment, critical thinking, and coordination with the care team.

Start date is 10/19/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. California RN license, NIHSS, BLS/ACLS/PALS are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Requires valid and unrestricted California RN license.
• NIHSS certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and implement nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide coordinated care.
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and documentation of patient data.
• Respond rapidly to patient needs and emergencies.
