Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Olney, Maryland. The role is in a hospital ED, with a 19:00–07:30 shift and a 36-hour workweek.

This position requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS, plus Cerner experience and travel RN background. Candidates must have at least 2 years of ED experience, completed a prior travel assignment, and pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation exam with strong scores.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, & PALS required.
• General ED adult/pediatric ER experience required.
• Must have Cerner experience.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in on-call duties and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
