Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The role focuses on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, non-trauma ED with neonates to geriatrics and complex conditions.

The contract spans 12 weeks with a 36-hour work week, consisting of 3x12-hour night shifts (20:00-08:30). Local travel, benefits, and housing support are provided as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Active RN license (MD or compact state).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in the ED.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Educate patients and support families in crisis.
• Manage observation unit patients with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
