TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse in Boerne, Texas for a 13-week assignment. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and are prepared to work within a diverse care team. This travel position includes a tax-free stipend arrangement and travel-related responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and allergies; obtain vital signs.
• Monitor patients' condition and provide bedside care as needed.
• Provide IV therapy and wound care; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Report any abuse to appropriate agencies if suspected.
