Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse in Willoughby, OH for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will work 12-hour nights (36 hours/week).

As an ER travel nurse, you will triage, evaluate and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, document histories and vitals, and communicate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS are required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred for ER travel roles.
• Emergency department travel experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Evaluate, triage and implement physician-directed care.
• Perform basic bedside care and wound management.
• Document medical history, allergies and vitals; monitor patient status.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.
