Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for Cleveland, TN. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Requires 1–2 years in acute care and ER-specific certifications.

As a travel ER RN, you will care for patients in a fast-paced environment, perform triage, document histories, and monitor patient conditions while adhering to physician instructions. Benefits and pay details are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Travel nurse assignment in ED (Emergency Department).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Document medical history and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care.
• Administer IV therapy and manage supplies/equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
