Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel RN in ED for nights in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This travel assignment offers 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum 36 hours per week and a 13-week duration.

The RN must hold a current state license, BLS and ACLS, with at least one year in acute or critical care. CCRN is preferred. You’ll provide high-quality emergency care, manage urgent cases, and collaborate with physicians and teams in a fast-paced ER setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois valid for practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year in acute or critical care setting.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using nursing process in ER.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate patient treatment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient status and results.
• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to emergencies.
• Float between ICU and Telemetry as needed.
