Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Washington-based facility. Requires WA or compact RN license, AHA certifications, and 1–2+ years ER experience. Night shifts, 5:1 patient ratio, and potential floating with a generous housing allowance and travel reimbursements.

The role involves work in a 10-bed ER in a 95-bed facility with Meditech EHR and Omnicell usage, and requires candidates to be away from permanent LifePoint staffing in the last year.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required
• 1-2+ years of ER nursing experience required
• RN degree required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-bed Emergency Room within a 95-licensed-bed facility
• Adult and geriatric patient population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury cases
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required
• Uses Omnicell equipment
• Meditech EHR system used
• Deliver emergency care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
• Collaborative, team-oriented unit culture
• Any scrub color accepted
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
