Job summary

The ER RN role at Fusion Medical Staffing is a travel assignment in Springfield, TN for 13 weeks. You will work 12-hour nights, provide rapid response, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians and teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Candidates must have ER experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS with TN state compliance. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team through a traveler-focused program.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.
