Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 12-week travel assignment in Johnson, AR. The role requires one year of ER experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications. You will triage, treat, and educate patients in a fast-paced ED, working with a multidisciplinary team.
The position offers travel compensation, health benefits, and 12-hour night shifts with weekly pay and dedicated recruiter support.
Qualifications
- One year of ER RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
- Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout stay in the ED
- Document comprehensive nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR
- Initiate patient education plans according to acute needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
