Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel ER RN for a Level III trauma center on the night shift. Requires at least 2 years of ED experience and 1 year of travel nursing experience, with active MO or Compact RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications that don’t expire within 30 days.

Position includes a 6p-6a night schedule with weekends, within a 13-bed ED of a 93-bed hospital. Will involve stroke/STEMI/trauma care, patient triage, and potential precepting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 6p-6a, with weekends required.
• Care for 13-bed ED within a 93-bed facility and ~1,100 visits per month.
• Manage patients across all ages; acuity ESI 1-5; patient ratio 4-5:1 (ESI 3).
• Handle stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis cases; EMTALA paperwork.
• Float to other departments about 1 shift per 13-week assignment; precept as needed.
