Job summary

TotalMed RN in Midland, Michigan is seeking an ER Travel Nurse to join a fast-paced Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment. You will provide bedside care, triage patients, and collaborate with a diverse team, working 12-hour nights on a 36-hour week schedule.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care ER experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and be capable of handling high-stress situations, patient families, and rapid changes in patient conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care ER experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and treat patients per physician instructions.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care as needed.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patient well-being.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; communicate with patients and families.
