Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week assignment in Kinston, North Carolina. The role requires a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts in the ED, traveling to assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS, NIH, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications required.
• 2 years of nursing experience in acute care or ER setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Provide basic bedside care, IV therapy and wound care as needed.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and status.
• Assist in ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced emergency environment.
