Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ER travel nurse to work in Dover, Ohio, in the Emergency Department. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, and a travel employment type.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Duties include triage, bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, vital signs, and documenting patient history.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat ER patients according to physician orders.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care.
• Document medical history and vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
