Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift (Third). This 14-week temporary role offers 12-hour shifts (7P–7A) and a rate of $75/hour. Must have nursing degrees and VA RN eligibility, with 2+ years ED experience and Epic proficiency.

Qualifications

• AT LEAST 2 years of RECENT HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPT as an RN REQUIRED.
• RN license eligible to practice in VA.
• TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care, teach health promotion and ensure patient safety.
• Document and communicate with care team to optimize outcomes.
