Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Springfield, Missouri. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, including 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with 18 months of ER experience in acute care settings and may require BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. MedPro offers comprehensive benefits and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required in some positions
• 18 months of recent Acute Care ER experience
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Recognize and treat life-threatening conditions in emergency situations.
• Understand triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
