Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Independence, Missouri. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a day shift.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and 18 months of ER experience. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC may be required depending on the client facility, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
• Provide care for patients from various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
